Abstract

This research is a STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) based learning video development research on momentum and impulse material. The purpose of this research is to develop and assess the quality of video-based learning media developed, especially on Momentum and Impulse material using the STEM approach. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study using the 4D model, which consists of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, this research only includes the first three stages, namely defining, designing, and developing. The data obtained from this research are qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data is in the form of categories while quantitative data is in the form of scores obtained from assessors and validators using a Likert scale. The average score of validation by material experts resulted in 2.63 from a maximum scale of 3.00 with a valid category with revisions and by media experts resulted in 2.20 from a maximum scale of 3.00 with a valid category with revisions. As for the assessment, it produces 3.63 of the maximum scale of 4.00 with a very good category and by media experts produces 3.80 of the maximum scale of 4.00 with a very good category. With this it can be concluded that video-based learning media for momentum and impulse material with a STEM approach can be declared valid with revision, very good, and feasible to be tested on students after revision.
