Abstract

This research is to develop Edu-Ludo learning media on the subject matter of animal tissue as a learning support for class XI SMA/MA students. The aims of this study included knowing the development, quality, and student responses to Edu-ludo subject matter of animal tissue as a medium for studying biology for SMA/MA students. This research belongs to the Research and Development (R&D) type of research with the ADDIE development model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) but this research only reaches the development stage. Data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptive analysis with data collection methods in the form of documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. Edu-ludo is assessed with assessment instruments in the form of: product quality assessment questionnaires by material experts, media experts, peer reviewers, and biology teachers as well as student response questionnaires. Quality value data obtained in the form of qualitative data is then processed into quantitative data. Quantitative data is then converted into a qualitative level of product quality with guidelines according to the assessment category criteria. The results showed that the development of Edu-ludo was carried out by analyzing the characteristics and competencies of students, making a design framework, and evaluating the quality of Edu-ludo. At the assessment stage, Edu-ludo which was developed received a validation value from material experts of 92% in the very good category, media experts by 88% in the very good category, peer reviewers by 96% in the very good category, biology teachers by 98% in the category very good, and student responses get a score of 92% in the very good category. Based on the research that has been done, the development of Edu-ludo uses the ADDIE model until the development stage and has met the "very good" assessment criteria from material experts, media experts, peer reviewers, biology teachers, and students.
