Abstract

This study aims to develop Sliding Puzzle as a learning medium and to determine the quality of Sliding Puzzle media on plant tissue system and function material for eleventh grade MIPA MA MAFAZA Bantul students. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE development model which is limited to the Analyze, Design, and Development stages. The Biology learning media in the form of Sliding Puzzles was assessed by one material expert, one media expert, one biology teacher, and five peer reviewers. This learning media is also responded to by 15 students of eleventh grade MA MAFAZA Bantul. Data collection techniques and data collection instruments used are questionnaires, namely quality and response assessment questionnaires. The Biology learning media product produced is in the form of a sliding puzzle on the system material and plant tissue functions. According to the assessors, the quality of learning media is in a very good category with an ideal percentage of material expert 95.6%, media expert 91%, biology teacher 95.6%, and peer reviewers 93%. Meanwhile, on the test results of student responses that were carried out on 15 students of eleventh grade MIPA at MA MAFAZA Bantul, a percentage of 91.46% is included in the strongly agree category.
