Abstract
This study aims to determine the diversity of ferns in the Tlogo Muncar waterfall area of Mount Merapi National Park, develop picture card media and determine the quality of the products that have been developed for class X students at MAN 3 Bantul. The research consisted of the research stage on the diversity of ferns in the Tlogo Muncar waterfall area of Mount Merapi National Park and the development stage of the media of picture cards on the diversity of ferns. The diversity research yielded 12 families and 50 species of ferns from 22 different genera. The final result is printed media in the form of picture cards. Picture cards were assessed with an assessment instrument in the form of a questionnaire, product quality assessment was carried out by 1 material expert who scored 93.33% with very good quality, 1 media expert scored 80% with good quality, 10 peer reviewers scored 94.93% with very good quality, 1 biology teacher scored 84% with very good quality, and 20 students of class X at MAN 3 Bantul got 85.45% with very good quality.
