Abstract

The lack of teaching materials provided by schools is the reason why physics learning is less varied. Therefore, further development of teaching materials is needed. This research aims to 1) produce teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning, 2) determine the feasibility of the product being developed, 3) determine students' responses to the teaching materials being developed. This research is a type of development research (Research and Development). This research was developed using 4 stages of the 4D development model, namely, 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Develop, 4) Desiminate. Data collection techniques in research include observation, interviews, product validation instruments, product quality assessment sheets, and student response questionnaires. Respondents in this study were 15 students of class X MIPA 4 SMA N 1 Banguntapan in a limited test. The product feasibility assessment uses a scale of 4 in the form of a checklist. The qualitative data analysis technique used was qualitative descriptive data analysis from Sugiyono. For quantitative data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis. The product that has been developed is in the form of physics teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning assisted by Adobe Flash CS6 on momentum and impulse. Product feasibility according to media experts, material experts and high school physics teachers respectively received "very good" criteria with scores of 65.5, 65.5 and 68.5. The results of a limited trial by class X high school students obtained the criterion of "strongly agree" with a mean of 67.46. This shows that the existence of teaching materials based on Problem Based Learning assisted by Adobe Flash CS6 on momentum and impulse material can help students understand the material and increase students' interest in learning physics.
