Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the implementation of madrasah development at MAN 4 Bantul through the SKS program. This research model is a qualitative descriptive model. The research informants were the Head of Madrasah WAKA Curriculum, the SKS Program Coordinator, the SKS Supporters, Students, and Alumni. Data collection by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with transcripts, coding, grouping, comparing and contrasting, and interpretation. Data validation techniques with data triangulation. The results of the study show: (1) The SKS program at MAN 4 Bantul is an innovation that aims to facilitate students in choosing subjects according to their interests, talents, and academic potential; (2) Implementation of madrasah development through the SKS program is based on four management functions, namely: (a) Planning with the formulation of SOPs. (b) Organizing with socialization. (c) Implementation, namely the program is carried out according to the SOP. (d) Supervision through evaluation; (3) The results of the SKS program are: First, increasing competitiveness. Second, improve the quality of education. The third is to grow students' character to be better at managing time, productive, responsible, committed, and better communicating.
