Abstract

This compilation examines the use of digital fundraising as a method of raising funds for Sharing Happiness as a crowdfunding foundation. The crowdfunding is set to help the welfare of the community based on the PJOK, but as a crowdfunding institution, after separating from Rumah Zakat, Sharing Happiness continues to collect zakat funds, even though neither OPZ or LAZ have the authority. The existence of regulations regarding crowdfunding and collecting zakat funds by Sharing Happiness is the study in this study with the formulation of the problem, how is digital fundraising implemented in the Sharing Happiness application and why digital fundraising in Sharing Happiness needs legal status and legal protection. This research is to obtain answers to the formulation of the problem using an empirical juridical approach with a descriptive qualitative type of assessment. The data were obtained from observations and documentation from the digital fundraising Sharing Happiness. The data obtained is analyzed inductively, by describing the situation in the field then a conclusion is drawn on the problem. As a result, it was concluded that the implementation of digital funding in Sharing Happiness as a crowdfunding foundation was carried out in an indirect fundraising manner, that is, it did not involve donors/muzaki exclusively when the offer was made. Sharing Happiness cooperates with fundraisers in raising alms, infak and waqf funds and becomes Ruah Zaat's partner in collecting zakat funds, while its utilization is disbursed directly to beneficiaries according to the respective programs being implemented. Regarding the legal status and legal protection in digital fundraising because of the benefits and benefits that can be obtained from the implementation of digital fundraising Sharing Happiness. These regulations are needed to provide guarantees for security and the presence of the government in providing arrangements for digital fundraising and crowdfunding activities, so that these regulations can serve as a reference or limitation in their implementation in maintaining rights and responsibilities.
