Abstract

The communication competencies held by the blind people will be one of the fundamental supports for interacting with activities in general. In the literature, the Internet can explain how they view the world with these limitation of vision. It's causing that one human requires another to interact and achieve certain goals, including working in the world of cinema such as creating a film. Sat Adhirajasa Production is a film community with member of blind people and non-disable people, with a focus on the film community being able to collaborate in creating a work of films, becoming a director of netra films successfully creating several films in the Sat Adhirajasa Production Community. This study is a type of qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The competence of communication on the Internet diphabel in creating film works in the Sat Adhirajasa Production Community is the object or case examined in this study. Research results show that Diphabel netra succeeded in creating works of film, but not all informants had indicators of communication competence when creating works of film. This can be seen based on predetermined indicators, including motivations, knowledge, and skills.
