Abstract

This research was conducted on districts/cities in Jambi Province. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of the amount of education and health budget allocation, regional original income, the number of unemployed, and the size of the minimum wage on the level of welfare of Regency/City communities in the Jambi province area. The research method used is a quantitative research method using secondary data obtained from the Jambi province Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the relevant Regency/City Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and related agency websites for the period from 2016 to 2022. The analysis method used used in this research is the panel data analysis method. The results of this research show that simultaneously the variables of the amount of budget allocation for education and health, local original income, the number of unemployed, and the size of the minimum wage influence the level of welfare of the Regency/City community in Jambi Province. Partially, the variables total budget allocation for education and health, original income and the size of the minimum wage have a positive and significant effect on the level of welfare of the Regency/City community in Jambi province. Meanwhile, the variable amount of poverty has a negative and significant effect on the level of welfare of Regency/City communities in Jambi province.
