Abstract

The Ministry of Religion of West Tanjung Jabung is a government organization under the auspices of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion. The Tanjung Jabung Barat Ministry of Religion office prioritizes communication in completing the tasks of its employees. Job productivity is also influenced by the skills of its employees in processing communication as a liaison between employees in improving the quality of performance productivity. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The informants used were selected using purposive sampling. This research uses interviews, observation, and documentation for data collection. The guarantor for the validity of the data in this research is triangulation, namely a technique by collecting different data to obtain data from the same source, and also using data analysis techniques. The results of this research indicate that effective interpersonal communication is very influential in increasing the productivity of the employees of the Ministry of Religion of Tanjung Jabung Barat. Although there are several differences of opinion, it does not reduce the intensity of employees at work. Communication goes well every day in the activities at the Ministry of Religion of Tanjung Jabung Barat, employees are also able to improve self-quality and productivity by always implementing good interpersonal communication between employees.
