Abstract

This research was motivated by the acquisition of accelerated madrasah within 3 years of establishment to obtain A (Excellent) accreditation. The condition of educators is the main factor in achieving achievements, namely 40% of educators have good competence with a master's degrees. A series of neatly arranged educator development activities in accordance with the plan produce maximum quality of education. The purpose of this study is to find out: 1) educator development plan, 2) implementation of educator development in schools, 3) school strategies in developing educators. This research uses qualitative research with field studies, the research subjects are principals, curriculum waka, biology teachers, arabic language teachers, chemistry teachers. In collecting research data using interview, observation, and documentation methods. This research carried out data analysis through data reduction, presentation of data that has been collected, and drawing conclusions. In testing the validity of the data, researchers use the method of source triangulation and triangulation techniques. The results of this study are: 1) Planning for the development of educators at MA Miftahunnajah Sleman through 3 indicators, namely needs analysis, preparation and formation of committees, and program implementation plans. There are 3 basic needs analysis of madrasah, including: qualification, correlation, and skill. In the preparation of the program and the formation of the committee, there are 2 basic foundations of madrasah in implementing a program, namely the Medium-Term Work Plan (RKJM) and the Annual Work Plan (RKT). Meanwhile, the program implementation plan is divided into 2 programs, including: education and training, activities other than education and training. 2) The implementation of educator development at MA Miftahunnajah Sleman has 2 programs, namely: education and training, and activities other than education and training. 3) The strategy for developing educators at MA Miftahunnajah Sleman consists of 3 types, namely work motivation, awarding, and position rotation.
