Abstract

This research is motivated by teaching materials that are less interesting and global warming material that is ignored, so it has not trained the Science Process Skills (KPS) needed by students. This research aims to 1) To develop physics E-LKPD based on Contextual Teaching and Learning on global warming material to facilitate students' science process skills. 2) Knowing the quality/feasibility of physics E-LKPD based on Contextual Teaching and Learning on global warming material to facilitate students' science process skills. 3) Knowing the students' response to the physics E-LKPD based on Contextual Teaching and Learning on global warming material developed. 4) Testing the implementation of physics E-LKPD based on Contextual Teaching and Learning to facilitate students' science process skills on global warming material. This research is a development research using the 4D development procedure by Thiaharajan (1976). The development stages include Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, but this research is limited to the Develop stage by conducting limited trials, broad trials, and testing the applicability of Science Process Skills (KPS). Product assessment, implementation of Science Process Skills, and student responses use a Likert scale with 4 categories. The instruments used include validation sheets, E-LKPD quality assessment sheets, student response sheets, and observation sheets for the implementation of Science Process Skills (KPS) using E-LKPD. The results of this study are E-LKPD Physics Based on Contextual Teaching and Learning on Global Warming Material to Facilitate Students' Science Process Skills and product assessment by material experts, media experts, and physics subject teachers obtained an average assessment with Very Good (SB) criteria with a score of 3.74; 3.64; and 3.66. The results of the limited trial and the broad trial obtained an average with the criteria of Strongly Agree (SS) with a score of 3.73 and 3.87. The E-LKPD developed can facilitate students' Science Process Skills based on the KPS implementation test which obtained Very Good (SB) criteria in the aspects of asking questions, observing, formulating hypotheses, planning experiments, using tools and materials, interpreting, communicating, and Good (B) criteria in the aspect of applying concepts.
