Abstract

Inclusive schools must meet the standards for the implementation of inclusive schools, namely educators who include classroom teachers; subject teachers; and special assistant teachers, infrastructure, curriculum, monitoring and evaluation. Therefore, to support the development and growth of children with special needs in achieving their learning success in inclusive schools, it is necessary to have special assistance teachers (GPK). TK Talenta is an inclusive school, but in the implementation of learning at TK Talenta there are no special assistant teachers who assist class teachers in learning activities. The purpose of this study is to find out how education services for children with special needs in inclusive schools. Descriptive qualitative research is an approach and type of research used in this study. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data that has been obtained is checked for validity using data triangulation and then analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study show that the education services for children with special needs in TK Talenta have differences from other schools, which distinguishes the identification and assessment process, making curriculum for children with special needs and its evaluation. TK Talenta also provides supporting facilities for educational services for children with special needs. TK Talenta sent two teachers to attend training organized by the Ministry of Education starting this year to become Special Assistance Teachers (GPK). However, the infrastructure facilities at TK Talenta cannot be fully considered ideal. Learning with the STEAM approach in TK Talenta is needed because the STEAM approach is needed to develop all aspects of child development so that children can solve problems and encourage children to try new things without fear of failure. The implications of the STEAM approach in TK Talenta for children with special needs as an effort to improve creative thinking skills in children with special needs, improve sensory nutrition in children with special needs, and prepare for the lives of children with special needs in the future.
