Abstract

This research was motivated by the limitations of learning media used in Islamic Religious Education subjects and students had difficulty remembering and understanding the material of Walisongo's exemplary story, so it was necessary to develop a product in the form of an e-module themed Walisongo story as a reading resource for grade IV elementary school students. The objectives of this study are (1) to find out the steps for developing e-modules, (2) testing the feasibility of e-modules, (3) measuring the effectiveness of e-modules Walisongo's exemplary story contains the value of religious moderation to increase tolerance attitudes of grade IV elementary school students. This research uses development research or Research and Development with the ADDIE model which consists of five steps, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The test subjects were carried out in small groups of 10 students and the actual field test was 30 students at SD Negeri Samirono. The results of this study show that (1) learning media in the form of Walisongo exemplary story e-module contains religious moderation values to increase tolerance attitudes of grade IV students, (2) Walisongo exemplary story e-module contains religious moderation values declared very feasible to be used as alternative media in Islamic Religious Education learning in grade IV based on assessments from material experts and media experts, (3) The e-module of Walisongo's exemplary story containing the value of religious moderation can increase the tolerance attitude of students by proving the acquisition of sig scores. (2 tailed) of 0.000 < 0.005. The results showed that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected, which means that the e-module of Walisongo's exemplary story contains the value of effective religious moderation to increase the tolerance attitude of grade IV elementary school students.
