Abstract

E-module P5 was developed as a solution to grade 1 students' critical and creative thinking problems on ecoprint batik material. Obstacles faced by students include lack of practical experience and limited use of technology. The objectives of this research are 1) developing a P5 e-module for grade 1 students with ecoprint batik material to improve students' critical and creative thinking skills 2) Obtaining a P5 e-module that is suitable for use to improve critical and creative thinking abilities for grade 1 students with ecoprint batik material 3) measuring effectiveness of e-module P5 class 1 e-coprint batik material. This research uses the R and D (Research and Development) research method with the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, tests and observations. The population in this study was 56 respondents from class I MIN 2 Bantul. Data analysis uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis, qualitative data analysis uses Miles Huberman, namely, data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions then quantitative data analysis using SPSS 26. This research produced 1) P5 P5 class 1 e-module teaching materials, ecoprint batik material that can be used on cellphones and laptops, equipped with pictures, text and learning videos. 2) E-module P5 is considered very suitable for use based on assessments from experts, the material expert's assessment obtained an overall average rating of 4.4 which is categorized as very suitable. The assessment from media experts obtained an overall average rating of 4.1, categorized as adequate. The assessment obtained from teachers was an average of 4.7 in the very decent category. The small group student response was 4.8 in the very feasible category and the large group test assessment produced an average score of 4.5 in the very feasible category. 3) the effectiveness of the P5 e-module based on the results of the N-gain calculation in the experimental group was 0.74 or 74% in the quite effective category. The N-gain calculation result in the control group was 0.61 or 61%, which was quite effective. The Wilcoxon test results show that there is a difference in the average pretest and posttest scores in the experimental group and the control class in improving students' critical and creative thinking skills with a significance of 0.000. The P5 e-module can improve students' critical thinking skills with a score of 80-100 in the very good category and can improve students' creative thinking with a score of 0.44 in the medium category. Thus, the development of the P5 e-module can improve students' critical and creative thinking abilities.
