Abstract

This research is motivated by affective assessment is an important part of the educational process that includes emotional, social, and attitudinal aspects of students, some teachers in affective assessment only use observational assessment alone do not use varied affective assessments. Teacher observations can provide valuable insight into student behavior and affection, but they only reflect the teacher's point of view of students. Teachers may not always be able to see or understand affective aspects that may occur in students in depth. Student self-assessment, in contrast, allows students to express their own feelings, experiences, and reflections. The main objective of this study is to develop a self-assessment instrument for grade IV students in the subject of Akidah Akhlak and test the validity and reliability of the instrument. This research was conducted using the type of research and development (R&D) with reference to the ADDIE model which has 5 stages of development, namely analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects in this study were educators and grade IV students totaling 87 students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Qualitative data was analyzed with Miles, Hubermen, & Saldana techniques, while quantitative data was analyzed with Likert scale, content validity, construct validity, reliability and instrument readability test. Proof of content validity is done by Aikens index analysis, and construct validity is done by factor analysis. The proof of the reliability of the instrument was carried out using Cronbach Alpha with the help of SPSS 21 statistics. The results of this study are: 1) The development of self-assessment instruments for grade IV students in the Akidah Akhlak subject was developed using the ADDIE development model that produces products that are suitable for use for students. 2) The results of the instrument feasibility test are seen from 3 categories, namely validity, reliability and readability test. As for proving the validity of small Likert scale tests with results (quite high), large-scale tests (quite high) as for the results of semantic scales that are small-scale tests with an average (high) and large-scale semantic tests with an average (low), as for the reliability results of student self-assessment instruments on the Likert scale small-scale tests have high reliability, large scale also has very high reliability. As for scale reliability, semantic differences, small-scale tests have high reliability and large-scale tests also have high reliability. The results of the instrument readability test are feasible / relevant. The implication of this study is that the selfassessment instrument of grade IV students in the subject of Akidah Akhlak Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is suitable for use in the learning process.
