Abstract

Poverty is one of the complex and foundational issues in Indonesia's economy. Solutions need to be identified to address or at least mitigate the level of poverty. This research aims to examine the influence of variables such as the economic growth rate, average years of schooling, and the regional minimum wage (UMK) as independent variables on the poverty rate in the Indramayu Regency as the dependent variable. The analysis employs quantitative methods, specifically multiple linear regression, using time-series data from 2010 to 2022. The study concludes that, individually, Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) and UMK do not impact the poverty rate. However, the Education variable has a significant effect on the poverty rate in Indramayu. Simultaneously, the levels of PDRB, average years of schooling, and UMK collectively have a noteworthy influence on the poverty rate in Indramayu.
