Abstract

This study aims to analyze changes in the influence of macroeconomic variables and Financial Technology (Fintech) on economic growth in the period before and after the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has not only created global economic challenges, but has also accelerated changes in the pattern of using financial technology. The data used in this study are secondary data in January 2019 – June 2023. The analysis used is Error Correction Model (ECM) analysis using the eviews 9 analysis tool. In the short term, Peer to Peer (P2P) Lending and Covid-19 have no effect on economic growth, while Fintech Payment and Export have a positive effect on economic growth, as well as the money supply, inflation has a negative effect on economic growth. In the long run, Peer to Peer (P2P) Lending and money supply have no effect on growth, while Covid-19, Inflation, have a negative effect, and Fintech Payment and Export have a positive effect on economic growth.
