Abstract

Assessment of attitudinal competence in learning is a series of activities created to measure the behavior of learners as a result of the learning process. Islamic religious education as a subject that includes the teachings of Islam and Islamic life and life values is considered necessary for teachers to equip their students with knowledge, understanding, appreciation and experience of the teachings of Islam. Attitude assessment on Islamic Religious Education material aims for learners to understand and have behavior that is in accordance with the values of Islamic teachings and be able to apply these values in everyday life, both at school and outside school. The focus of the assessment and analysis taken is on attitude assessment by taking the formulation of the problem of how the assessment of attitudes in the book of Islamic Religious Education and Ethics SMP/MTs Class VII and what are the assessment of attitudes in the book of Islamic Religious Education and Ethics SMP/MTs Class VII. Attitude assessment in Islamic education textbook and Budi Pekerti SMP / MTs Class VII focuses on two aspects of assessment, namely spiritual aspects and social aspects, while the attitude assessment techniques used in the book are behavioral observation and self-assessment. This research is a library research with qualitative research approach. Qualitative approach by searching for sources and merkontruksi from various sources such as books, journals, and existing research. Then analyze the results using content analysis and descriptive analysis. Library materials obtained from various references are analyzed critically and in depth in order to support propositions and ideas. The results of the analysis of attitude assessment in the subject book PAI and Budi Pekerti SMP Class VII there are two assessment of attitudes include spiritual attitude assessment and assessment of social attitudes. The assessment of spiritual attitude in this book can be known by several indicators, namely carrying out worship in accordance with their religion, being grateful for the blessings and gifts of God Almighty, and maintaining good relations with fellow people of God Almighty's creation. Meanwhile, the assessment of social attitudes in this book can be known by several indicators, namely honesty, discipline, responsibility, courtesy, caring, confidence, mutual assistance, and tolerance. The attitude assessment techniques that can be used as a reference assessment of attitude assessment through self-assessment techniques using instruments such as checklist/checklist table that contains statements about the subject matter related to the attitude of learners.
