Abstract

This research is motivated by the formation of character that needs to be carried out in accordance with the morals of the Prophet Muhammad SAW who is the role of the role of the people and the importance of character in building strong humans. So it is necessary to apply character education appropriately to prepare students to respect others and be able to live in a diverse society. So that the focus of the research is how to foster students' noble morals through strengthening character education (PPK) in the implementation of the social attitude of MTs Ma'arif NU Srumbung. What are the inhibiting and supporting factors as well as solutions in fostering the noble morals of students through the Strengthening of character education (PPK) in the implementation of the social attitude of MTs Ma'arif NU Srumbung. This type of research is field research using a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were the head of the madrasah, the deputy head of curriculum, teachers, and students. Data collection procedures through observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data that has been collected is analyzed through several stages, namely collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing a conclusion. Data validity checking using source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of this research show (1) The development of students' noble morals through the strengthening of character education (PPK) in the implementation of social attitudes, namely: the existence of daily, weekly, monthly habits, generosity, manners, honesty, and tolerance. (2) Inhibiting and supporting factors as well as solutions for fostering students' noble morals through strengthening character education (PPK) in the implementation of social attitudes, namely: inhibiting factors include educators/teachers, students, parents, and infrastructure facilities. Supporting factors include educators/teachers and parents. While the solution includes cooperation and deliberation
