Abstract

Collaboration and communication skills are abilities that can answer the demands of current developments. These skills can be developed through the use of learning media. This research aims to: (1) Develop Ludo BUKOKA learning media in developing collaboration and communication skills of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students, and (2) Find out the effectiveness of Ludo BUKOKA learning media in developing collaboration and communication skills of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. This research is a mixed methods exploratory sequential type. Qualitative data was collected first and then quantitative data. Qualitative data was obtained through the development stage, namely the results of assessments by media experts, material experts, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires, while quantitative data was obtained through pre-test and post-test results. At the implementation stage, Ludo BUKOKA learning media used a pre-experimental design, one group pre-test and post-test. The research was carried out at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah PUI Cilimus Kuningan in class IV with 20 students. The results of the research are: (1) Ludo BUKOKA learning media was developed using the Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE model method. Analyze needs, student characteristics, curriculum and materials, create a design for a new product to be developed, then validated for implementation in learning and assessed (evaluation) to determine the value and benefits of the product being developed. (2) Ludo BUKOKA learning media is effective in developing students' collaboration and communication skills as seen from the results of n-gain analysis using Excel 2013. Collaboration skills scored 90% of the "Effective" criteria, score (g) > 0.7, namely 0.9 criteria "High" as many as 19 students, a value of 0.3 ≤ (g) ≥ 0.7 "Medium" criteria as many as 1 student and a value (g) < 0.3 "Low" criteria, namely 0 or none. Meanwhile, communication skills scored 96% for the "Effective" criteria, value (g) > 0.7, namely 1.0 "High" criteria for 20 students, value 0.3 ≤ (g) ≥ 0.7 "Medium" criteria and the value (g) < 0.3 "Low" criteria, namely 0 or none. So that Ludo BUKOKA learning media can develop students' collaboration and communication skills.
