Abstract

The advancements in information and communication technology, espessially on the Android platform, provide opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of learning Musṭalāh Al-Hadīṡ among students and the wider community. Musṭalāh Al-Hadīṡ is a branch of knowledge within the study of hadis that explores the principles and rules used to assess the authenticity of a hadith. This research aims to develop and implement a digital learning media based on Android for studying Musṭalāh Al-Hadīṡ. The development of this application is implementing the Research and Development (R&D) method. The research method employed in this study is Research and Development (R&D), consisting of planning, development, and evaluation stages. The planning stage includes user needs analysis, determination of material analysis, and device requirements analysis. Development involves the processes of design, programming, and implementation of the Android-based application. Evaluation is conducted through testing using the black-box method and testing with relevant experts. The result of this research is an Android application that presents content themed around hadiths such as Musthalah Al-Hadith, hadith texts (matan hadith), and the Quran.
