Abstract

Sufistic Da'wah is an effort to spread the teachings of Sufism by utilizing the values contained therein. In this context, Sufism in question is a positive version or known as neosufism. Neosufism not only focuses on the spiritual dimension, but also gives balanced attention to active and dynamic involvement in community life activities. Currently, da'wah only focuses on an external approach, tending to ignore spiritual worship, meanwhile the presence and development of Islam in Indonesia is mostly through a spiritual approach or Sufism, this is proven by the existence of Walisongo and the development of tarekat in Indonesia. Abah Anom as a Sufistic figure in preaching not only prioritizes spirituality, but Abah Anom also implements these Su-fistic values in the social world, such as building educational institutions, from ele-mentary to tertiary level. Apart from that, Abah Anom appointed a talkin representa-tive as an effort to spread TQN in various regions and even abroad. This shows Abah Anom's seriousness in preaching in the midst of modern society. Therefore, the au-thor is interested in digging deeper into Abah Anom's Sufistic preaching by high-lighting the thesis title KH Ahmad Shohibulwafa Tajul Arifin (Abah Anom) Sufistic Da'wah in a Persuasive Communication Approach. This type of research is a combination of field research and library research which is descriptive in nature with historical and psychological research approaches. Using observation, interview and literature data collection methods. Then it was analyzed using Carl Hovland's attitude change theory and John Broadus Watson's behaviorist communication theory to obtain a research conclusion. The results of this research show that Abah Anom's Sufistic preaching practice was able to change the behavior of the TQN Suryalaya Brothers and even among the community who implemented it through his teachings. The messages contained in Abah Anom's Sufistic teachings are also able to change a person's personality, this is reflected in the results of the author's interviews with sources. Apart from that, the Brotherhood's participation in spreading Abah Anom's Sufistic teachings was suc-cessful, this is proven by the existence of institutions at the Suryalaya Islamic Board-ing School, such as Educational Institutions, LDTQN and others, even Talkin repre-sentatives played a big role in spreading TQN in the region and abroad.
