Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the local potential of biodiversity in Menoreh Landscape. (2) develop a biology learning module based on the local potential of biodiversity in the Menoreh Landscape on biodiversity material for SMA/MA class X. (3) determine the quality and feasibility of the module based on the assessment of material experts, media experts, peer reviewers, and biology teachers, as well as student responses to the module. Module development uses the ADDIE model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, which in this study only focused on the development stage. The product assessment instrument is a questionnaire with a Likert rating scale using five alternative answer choices. The assessment aims to determine the quality value of the module developed based on the material, presentation, and language aspects. The results of this study indicate that the local potential of biodiversity in the Menoreh Landscape is diverse and can be raised as the main material for the module. The resulting product is a biology learning module based on the local potential of biodiversity in the Menoreh Landscape. The developed module has good quality (B) with an average percentage of ideality of 83.6%. Sequentially, the assessment results are material experts 80% (Good), media experts 79% (Good), peer reviewers 91% (Very Good), biology teachers 81% (Good), and students 87% (Very Good). Based on this assessment, this learning module is suitable for use as an alternative teaching material for biodiversity in class X SMA/MA.
