Abstract

The background of this study is the results of pre-observation that researchers conducted showed that there are still students who have not met the target of memorizing the Qur'an. If in reality there are still students who have not met the memorization target, what are the school's efforts to overcome these students. And what are the school's efforts in improving student memorization, so that the memorization target can be achieved optimally. Therefore, the purpose of the study is to find out more about the results of evaluating the student's Qur'an memorization program with the CIPP (context, input, process, and product) model. In addition, this study will discuss the efforts of the school to improve the students memorization of the Qur'an. This research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were transcripting, coding, grouping, comparing and contrasting, and interpreting. The data validity technique used was source triangulation. The results of this study are: First, the results of the evaluation with the CIPP model on the students Al-Qur'an memorization program at SDIT Bina Anak Islam Krapyak: a) Context evaluation shows that the program objectives are in accordance with the school vision, the program target is students, the program human resources are ustadz/ustadzah and students. While the program socialization strategy is by holding events such as art performances and utilizing school social media. As well as spreading acceptance brochures every year; b) Input evaluation shows that the ustadz/ustadzah of the program is in accordance with the required qualifications. For special qualifications, it refers to the memorization target of each class; c) The results of the process evaluation show that the expected obstacles are ustadz/ustadzah who are absent and students who are difficult to manage. Unexpected obstacles are lack of support from parents, lack of student motivation in memorizing the Qur'an, and lack of muroja'ah the students in memorizing Qur'an. The entire process of the student Al-Qur'an memorization program is in accordance with the plan; d) Product evaluation shows that the expected results of the program are that students can meet all memorization targets and can understand the Qur'an in depth. Students who meet the memorization target are around 80%. Based on the results of the CIPP evaluation, the Al- Qur'an memorization program of SDIT Bina Anak Islam students should be continued with some improvements. The reason is because the overall results of the discussion of each evaluation component can be said to be good, although there are still some notes. Second, the efforts made by the school to improve students memorization of the Qur'an, namely: forming memorization groups, dividing Al-Qur'an memorization targets, providing motivation and assignments or homework, and implementing memorization debt strategies.
