Abstract

The background of this research is the existence of the Pancasila Student Profile as a means of improving the quality of student character. A subject that is closely related to character quality is PAI. The success of forming a human profile in the PAI learning process is determined by the learning model. The learning model is very influential on the effectiveness of learning. A suitable learning model is the PBL learning model. However, SMAN 10 Yogyakarta still uses CTL so that students are lacking in aspects of the Pancasila student profile. Therefore, researchers want to know the Effectiveness of the Implementation of PBL and CTL Learning Models on the Pancasila Student Profile of PAI Subjects at SMA N 10 Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the implementation, level, and effectiveness of PBL and CTL Learning Models in the Pancasila Student Profile of PAI Subjects. The type of research used is Mixed Methods Research (MMR). The subjects of this study were class X 3 as the control group and X 5 as the experimental group. The approach used is Embedded Strategy. Data analysis techniques in the form of triangulation of data sources, problem instrument tests, classical assumption tests which include normality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and N-Gain tests. The results showed that the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in PAI Subjects with the PBL model, that the three aspects of the Pancasila Student Profile, namely Faith, fear of God Almighty and Noble Morals, Global diversity, and critical reasoning, look very good and can close the weaknesses of the CTL model. The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile in PAI Subjects with the CTL model does not seem good. The use of the CTL model has not been able to support the achievement of the Pancasila Student Profile. Pancasila Student Profile Level in PAI Subjects with PBL model with the most categories in the "HIGH" category. The level of Pancasila student profile in PAI Subjects with the CTL model with the most categories in the "MEDIUM" category. The effectiveness of the PBL and CTL learning models on the profile of Pancasila students can be seen from the results of the Independent Sample T-Test. From the test, it is said that there is a significant difference between the PBL and CTL learning models. Through the N-Gain Test, the average Gain of the Control class is 40.7% which is in the "Less Effective" category. For the Experimental class, it can be concluded that the average Gain of 78.3% is in the "Effective" category.
