Abstract

This research is motivated by the rampant bullying behavior at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 Depok. This study aims to: 1) describe what values are considered capable of preventing bullying behavior at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 Depok. 2) analyze the values implemented in preventing bullying behavior at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 Depok.3) analyze the implications in preventing bullying behavior at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 Depok. The type of research used is qualitative with a type of field research, and a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely, data condensation, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. This research resulted in three conclusions, namely; 1) Values that are considered capable of preventing bullying behavior at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 Depok, such as: religious values, social values, and mutual respect for the older and love for the younger. There are normative foundations, juridical foundations, and the strong influence of the school environment, peers and personalities that have the potential for bullying behavior. 2) This value is implemented in preventing bullying behavior at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 Depok, such as: by teaching in class during lessons and teaching through class recitation, working with counseling teachers and parents so that students understand bullying behavior. It is hoped that students can apply in their daily lives such as praying 5 times, reciting the Koran, helping parents and respecting others. There are 3 stages, namely: First, planning, including: superior program meetings, superior program preparation, superior program coaching. Second, implementation, including: anti-bullying movement, coaching for those with cases, follow-up, conditional boarding. Third, evaluation, including: time aspects, quantity aspects, and quality aspects. 3) Implications in preventing bullying behavior at Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 Depok, as follows: First, an understanding of bullying behavior, through moral knowing, such as code of conduct policies, anti-bullying student pledges and declaring anti-bullying schools. Second, the emergence of awareness of refraining from bullying, which is obtained from the moral feeling process. Third, the formation of religious character, through the process of moral action, such as dzuhur prayer and asar prayer in congregation.
