Abstract

Business competition is a situation where business actors compete with other business actors to get profits in ways that are able to get public attention. Ojek has been around for a long time and is one way for people to move from one place to another. The rapid development of technology and penetrating into various sectors is a factor in the emergence of online motorcycle taxis. Its appearance causes jealousy on conventional motorcycle taxis which then affects the occurrence of various problems. This study tries to answer the problems: How does the practice of business competition between the two parties occur? What is the view of Islamic law on business competition that occurs between the two? This research is a field research that uses a normative approach. The main data sources of this study are the results of interviews, observations, and documentation which are then supported by literature related to this research This research shows the results that business competition that occurs between the two parties is unfair and not in accordance with the principles of Islamic law in business competition. Restricting someone and controlling an area so that others do not enter harms others, both other business actors and the community as consumers. Restricting someone from gaining profits through the work done is included in heinous acts because it harms others.
