Abstract

This study explores the use of family therapy by the Pajo District, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Religious Affairs Office as a means of overcoming divorce. The Office of Religious Affairs offers family therapy to assist troubled families in finding quick, amicable solutions to their issues. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the effectiveness of family counseling implemented by the Pajo District, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Religious Affairs Office in resolving divorce. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. The study's findings demonstrate that family counseling using the Islamic Counseling method can be implemented at the Religious Affairs Office of Pajo Sub-district, giving clients and those who have been reported fresh perspectives on how to keep their households intact. This is done in order to prevent divorce by helping offenders recognize their wrongdoings and modify their behavior.
