Abstract

Lailuz Zulfa “Impact of Tourism Village Management Training by the High Hall of Training and Promotion of the Community of the Village, Deserted and Transmigrant Areas (BBPPMDDTT) of Yogyakarta in Kapanewon Kalibawang district of Kulon Progo”, Islamic Society Development Study Program, Faculty of Religion and Communication, UIN Sunan Kallijaga Yogyakarta, 2024. This research is a study that discusses a Tourism Village Management Training in Kapanewon Kalibawang district of Kulon Progo. The study aims to identify the form of training given by the tourist village management training and to know its impact on human resources assessed by the attitude of the participants. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, which involves data collection through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research participants consisted of the head of the organizing body, coaches, and training participants. Research results show that tourism village management training covers various aspects, including the concept of tourist village, local product management, and human resource development. The form of this training is a form of re-training or retraining which has the meaning of refresh the knowledge of the participants about the management of the tourist village to be more modern in accordance with what is required by the participants to face the changing demands of work so that the participants are more confident. The impact of this training is assessed from three theories of attitude impact: cognitive, affective, and behavioral. The implications of this research highlight the importance of sustainable training and participatory approaches in empowering communities for the sustainable development of tourist villages.
