Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of domestic investment, average years of schooling, labor force participation rate, and inflation on economic growth in Indonesia. The data analysis method used is panel data analysis in the form of cross sections from 34 provinces in Indonesia with time series from 2015 to 2022. This research uses a quantitative analysis method with the Eviews 09 analysis tool. The results of model specification testing state that FEM (Fixed Effect Model) is the selected model. Of all the independent variables, there are three variables that have a positive and significant influence on economic growth, such as domestic investment, average length of schooling, and inflation. This positive influence is caused by high levels of investment and education which can encourage economic growth. Such as mild inflation which can encourage economic growth. However, the labor force participation rate variable has a negative and insignificant influence on Indonesia's economic growth. This can occur when the increase in the population of working age is not accompanied by adequate employment opportunities, which can lead to unemployment. Unemployment that occurs in society will cause a decrease in people's purchasing power, thereby reducing economic performance.
