Abstract

This This study aims to determine the influence of School Life Expectancy, Labor Force, and Poverty on economic growth in East Java Province from 2013 to 2022. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics from 2013 to 2022, and panel data regression analysis is applied using the random effect model. This type of research is quantitative, and the research sample consists of 38 regencies/cities in East Java Province. The results of this study, using Eviews 9, show that partially, the variable of school life expectancy has a positive effect on economic growth, the labor force variable has a positive effect on economic growth, and the poverty variable has a negative effect on economic growth from 2013 to 2022. Simultaneously, all the independent variables have an effect on economic growth in East Java Province from 2013 to 2022.
