Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of ESG and product innovation as well as the moderating influence of BDP-AI on the performance of manufacturing companies in Indonesia. This research is quantitative research with secondary data sources using purposive sampling data collection techniques. This research was conducted on manufacturing companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and have obtained an ESG score from Bloomberg for at least 1 year with an interval of 2018 - 2022. The observation sample consisted of 24 companies with 86 observations after going through a sampling process and removing outlier data. The data analysis technique used a panel data regression model with the selection of the best model through the Chow test, LM test and Hausman test. Based on the test results, it is concluded that: (1) environmental, social and product innovation aspects do not have a significant effect on ROA, (2) governance aspects and BDP-AI have a significant positive effect on ROA, (3) BDP-AI is unable to moderate overall independent variable on the performance of manufacturing companies.
