Abstract

This research departs from the urgency that educational facilities and infrastructures are one measure of school quality. Angkasa Lanud Iswahyudi Kindergarten is famous for its facilities and infrastructures that support students' learning. However, there is one of facility and infrastructure that is not used. For this reason, researchers are interested in examining the facilities and infrastructure management process carried out by TK Angkasa Lanud Iswahyudi along with optimization, supporting, and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This research employs a descriptive-qualitative method with the research object being TK Angkasa Lanud Iswahyudi. In this qualitative study, data are obtained through field observations, interviews with various informants, and documentation. The primary data from the field are then systematically organized according to the research themes, which are subsequently interpreted within the theoretical framework employed. The data analysis in this study follows three stages of analysis in the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. Meanwhile, for data validity, the triangulation technique is utilized, encompassing source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The results of this research indicate that the management of infrastructure at the Angkasa Lanud Iswahyudi Kindergarten was carried out in several stages: (1) Planning; carried out in an open and deliberative manner (2) Procurement; submit requests for assistance to foundations and the government. (3) Distribution; carried out periodically as needed. (4) Inventory; carry out records of existing facilities and infrastructures. (5) Use; scheduling facilities and infrastructure (indoor/outdoor) (6) Supervision and Maintenance; every teacher is responsible for maintaining infrastructure (7) Removal; make observations first before deletion. Furthermore, optimizing management of facilities and infrastructure consists of several aspects including: 1) Principles of achieving goals; by periodically monitoring infrastructure. 2) Principle of efficiency; by preparing short and long term work programs. 3) Administrative Principles; By applying for assistance to foundations or the government. 4) The principle of clarity of responsibility; by creating a special team responsible for managing facilities and infrastructure. 5) Cohesive Principle; there is clear reporting/reports from the responsible party to the institution. Then the supporting factors in optimizing the management of facilities and infrastructure at Angkasa Lanud Iswahyudi Kindergarten are moral and material support from the Indonesian Air Force, the Foundation and the Government. While the inhibiting factors are; 1) Management of existing budget facilities and infrastructure has not been maximized. 2) Maintenance of Facilities and Infrastructure is poorly maintained.
