Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, which means different but still one. This shows that Indonesia is a country full of diversity because there are various tribes, languages, cultures, and religions in it. From this, it is very suitable if the motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is compared to Indonesia. This research aims to: (1) analyze the moderation values that are instilled in religious education learning for Muslim students at De Britto College High School, Yogyakarta; (2) analyze the implementation of instilling the values of religious moderation in religious education learning for Muslim students at De Britto College High School, Yogyakarta; and (3) analyze the impact of instilling the values of religious moderation in learning religious education for Muslim students at De Britto College High School, Yogyakarta. The type of research used is qualitative research, which is descriptive-analytical in nature using primary and secondary data. Primary data sources were obtained from teachers and students. Meanwhile, secondary data sources were obtained from journal articles and online books. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research describes: 1) The values of moderation that are instilled in religious education learning for Muslim students at De Britto College High School are the value of respect for human dignity, the value of freedom, the value of peace, the value of solidarity, the value of justice and the value of respecting diversity. 2) Instilling Religious Moderation Values in Religious Education Learning for Muslim Students at De Britto College High School through live in social, live in tolerance and spiritual day activities. 3). The impact of instilling the values of religious moderation in religious education learning for Muslim students at De Britto College High School is tolerance and harmony, forming the character of honesty, time discipline, communicativeness and tolerance, preventing radicalism and extremism and strengthening relations between religious communities.
