Abstract

STEAM teaches students that IPAS learning can create integrated cross-disciplinary learning, thereby creating a holistic learning experience and supporting the development of students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze: the characteristics of STEAM-based E-modules containing Islamic values, the quality of STEAM-based E-Modules containing Islamic values based on expert validator assessments, the responses of teachers and students to STEAM-based E-Modules containing Islamic values, the effectiveness of STEAM-based E-Modules containing Islamic values: as an effort to strengthen the Profile of Rahmatan Lil Alamin for grade IV of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The STEAM-based IPAS e-module containing Islamic values is developed through research and development (Research and Development/R&D) methods with the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and evaluate (ADDIE) model. The IPAS e-module was developed with the Professional PDF flip application and the results of this development have the following characteristics: STEAM-based as shown on the learning project sheet, loaded with Islamic values presented in the material, interactive, accessible, up to date, providing multimedia (images, audio, video), automatically generating assessment scores after working on the questions and user friendly. E-modules can be accessed using computers/laptops, tablets, or smartphones with general specifications easily, but they depend on internet network connectivity and require digital skills. The IPAS e-module is assessed for its quality by material experts, linguists and media experts with very good criteria. Teachers and students responded positively to the E-module, as evidenced by the teacher and student response questionnaire. The IPAS E-module was also tested for its effectiveness on the critical reasoning dimension in P5 PPRA through the Paired Simple T-test and obtained significance values (2-tailed) of 0.00 and 0.00<0.05 if referring to the level of Paired Simple T-test results, there is a significant difference after implementing the E-module in learning. Then the N-Gain test was carried out to obtain a score of .0.59 with the "medium" category. So if referring to the calculation criteria of the N-Gain test, it is concluded that the STEAM-based IPAS E-module containing Islamic values is quite effective to be used in learning as an effort to strengthen the Profile of Rahmatan Lil Alamin in grade IV of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
