Abstract

There are many factors that influence a person's level of social piety, one of which is the surrounding environment. The environment that can influence a person's social piety is their peers. These peers have quite a big influence on a person's level of social piety after family and society. These peers can be influential because of the intensity of interaction between friends at school, because they spend most of their time at school compared to at home or in the community. In this day and age, people are vulnerable to deviant interactions and relationships so that their morals and personality deviate from the straight line. To prevent this, there is a need for religious activities in the school environment to instill an attitude of social piety in students. This research aims to determine the influence between the intensity of student interaction on the level of social piety. This type of research uses quantitative methods with calculating tools using the SmartPLS 3.0 software application. The population in the study was 165 students of class X MAN 4 with a sample size using the Slovin formula, and a sample of 62 students of class The data collection techniques used by researchers are questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of the research can be concluded that the social interaction and social piety of class And this is proven by the results of quantitative analysis which states that the intensity of interaction between class X students has a positive and significant effect on the level of social piety of individual students. This shows that the intensity of social interaction at school can influence the level of individual social piety of class X students at MAN 4 Bantul.
