Abstract

This study aims to determine the Implementation and Impact of Social Inclusion-Based Libraries in Community Empowerment at the Library and Archives Office of Magelang Regency. The research method is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. Test the validity of the data is done through triangulation of sources and reference materials. Data analysis in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study are that the Magelang Regency Library and Archives Service has implemented a social inclusion-based library in community empowerment, in the fields of education, health, and micro-economics, ICT, culture and tourism. The targets of the social inclusion-based library program in community empowerment at the Magelang Regency Library and Archives Service are children, youth, women, MSME entrepreneurs, and most importantly marginalized groups. Implementation of social inclusion-based library programs in empowerment through community involvement and to support the TPBIS Program of the Magelang Regency Library and Archives Service to carry out Advocacy. The Magelang Regency Library and Archives Service has replicated the TPBIS Program at the Village level. The library program based on social inclusion in empowerment has a direct impact that is felt for the training participants and also for the Library and Archives Service of Magelang Regency and also for librarians
