Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of foreign direct investment, human capital, and electricity consumption on economic growth in Java Island in 2011- 2022. The data used is secondary data taken from the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2012-2022 using panel data regression analysis using random effect models. This type of research is quantitative and the sample of this research is six in Java Island. The results of this study using Eviews 12 show that partially the foreign direct investment variable has a negative effect on economic growth, the human capital variable has a positive effect on economic growth, and the electrical energy consumption variable has a negative effect on economic growth in 20212-2022. Simultaneously, the independent variables affect economic growth in Java Island in 2012-2022.
