Abstract
International trade can occur due to differences in resources, economic conditions, government systems and infrastructure facilities. Fluctuations in export development in D-8 countries occur as a result of increasingly tight competition in the international market. Macroeconomic conditions between different countries can produce different impacts on exported goods and services. The novelty of this research is that it includes institutional quality and technological infrastructure variables using rule of law and fixed broadband subscription indicators as determinants of exports from Muslim countries. The object of this research uses 8 Muslim countries that are members of the Developing Eight organization with a research period of 2017-2022. The Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) method used is efficient, consistent and unbiased. Research findings show that Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), economic growth, rule of law, and Fixed Broadband Subscription have a significant effect, while inflation has no significant effect on exports of the Developing Eight Muslim countries. The capital provided by investors will boost production capabilities thereby increasing the country's total exports. An increase in the income of a country's population indicates an increase in the value of domestic production to meet demand. The quality of technology in D-8 Muslim countries is still much lower than in developed countries, so they are unable to maximize the level of efficiency of information and communication technology that can boost export rates. Turkey has a low cost advantage in international markets due to a depreciating currency, so inflation cannot affect its export levels due to other factors.
