Abstract

Resilience is an individual's ability to survive when they encounter problems and be able to get back up so they can solve them and learn lessons from the problems they are experiencing. Resilience is not only an individual ability, but a process of adapting to the social and surrounding environment. This research aims to determine the description of psychological resilience in adolescent victims of divorce. The subjects of this research were 3 teenagers from SMAN 1 Praya Timur students aged 16 and 17 years and of course with divorced parents. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach and data collection using interviews and documentation. The results of this research are a picture of resilience seen by the three informants in the form of them being able to become teenagers who have resilience, proven by the results of the research which show that they are able to rise up by being encouraged by positive activities such as their hobbies of watching films, playing games, modifying motorbikes and doing extracurricular activities and other activities.
