Historical dimension of human being that represented in the spirit of “collective piety� is always wasteful and destructive toward ecology. God, for human being, is only deal with the needs of humans without considering the needs of other creatures. In this case, Islam actually teaches a wonderful description of a chain of life which puts other creatures or ecology as an important as human position in this world.However, it is also clear that the quality of understanding religious tenets is depend on the maturity of the culture in certain nations in which Islam is practiced and articulated. When collective piety practiced only in a superficial level without any ability to change behavior and habit of the adherents, it is hard to hope a religious responsibility as an alternative solution to create a better life of society.
