Abstract

This research aims to analyze the mathematical representation ability of students in mathematics learning based on self-regulated learning. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 24 grade XI junior high school students selected using stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through a test of mathematical representation ability and a self-regulated learning questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, including correlation and linear regression tests. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that 6 students had a high level of self-regulated learning, 13 students had a moderate level of self-regulated learning, and 3 students had a low level of self-regulated learning. From the statistical data analysis, it can be concluded that: the hypothesis test result has a significant value of (0.232 > 0.05). Thus, there is no influence between self-regulated learning on students' mathematical representation ability, but there is a 0.22% relationship.
