Abstract

This study aims to: 1) determine the effectiveness of the Tri-N (Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi) learning model on learning interest in excretion material in MAN 2 Klaten students, and 2) determine the effectiveness of the Tri-N (Niteni, Nirokke, Nambahi) learning model on learning outcomes in excretion material in MAN 2 Klaten students. The research conducted was a type of quasi experiment research with a quantitative research design. This research was conducted at MAN 2 Klaten class XI IPA even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year on the material of the excretory system. The population of this study was class XI IPA which consisted of three classes. Sampling was done with total sampling technique. The samples taken in this study were class XI IPA 1, XI IPA 2 and XI IPA 3. Data collection techniques in this study by means of observation and tests (pretest and posttest). Data were taken using a student interest checklist observation sheet and a description test question. The data analysis technique used in this research is paired sample t test and N-Gain test. This research shows that there is a difference in the average value of learning interest and learning outcomes using conventional learning models, jigsaw type cooperative learning models, and Tri-N; and there is a comparison of N- Gain values that show differences in the effectiveness of the three models. The results of this study showed 1) the Tri-N learning model was effective in improving student learning outcomes with a presentation of 55.01%; and 2) the Tri-N learning model was effective in improving student interest in learning with a percentage of 53.88%
