Abstract

Macroscopic fungi have an important role in human life, economic aspects, food needs, medicine, education, and science. Due to the many types of macroscopic fungi, there is difficulty in knowing and identifying these fungi. This study aims to develop an encyclopedia of macroscopic fungi in the Wanagama educational forest area on the subject of fungi as a learning resource for class XE4 students at SMAN 2 Playen and to determine the quality of the encyclopedia of macroscopic fungi in the Wanagama educational forest area on the subject of fungi. This study is an R&D (Research and Development) study using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, and Evaluation) research model. The products in this study were assessed using an instrument in the form of a checklist questionnaire. The products were assessed by 1 material expert, 1 media expert, 5 peer reviewers, 1 biology teacher, and 15 responses from class XE4 students at SMAN 2 Playen. The final result of this study is an encyclopedia in printed form. The results of the product quality assessment that has been assessed by material experts got an ideal percentage of 93.3%, media experts got an ideal percentage of 84.3%, peer reviewers got an ideal percentage of 96%, biology teachers got an ideal percentage of 86%, and student responses got an ideal percentage of 87%, all of them got an ideal percentage with a very good category except for biology teachers who were good. Based on the results of the product quality assessment, it can be concluded that the product is suitable for use as a learning resource for class XE4 students at SMAN 2 Playen.
