Abstract

The background to this research is based on survey results which state that the implementation of Pancasila values among the younger generation in Indonesia has decreased. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology through Decree Number 009/H/KR/2022 concerning Dimensions, Elements and Sub-Elements of the Pancasila Student Profile in the Independent Curriculum. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum is complemented by the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) program which plays a role in forming students with the character of the Pancasila Student Profile. Researchers are interested in studying how the implementation of the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project program at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta is in accordance with the 5th of the school's 6 missions, namely "Realizing the Pancasila Student Profile in learning". This research is qualitative research using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The place and time of the research was carried out at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in May-July 2024. The research subjects consisted of 9 resource persons, namely the principal, head of curriculum, two students, five facilitator teams consisting of chairman, secretary, treasurer and two compilers. module. Data analysis was carried out by means of data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing and verification. The validity of the data is strengthened by using triangulation of sources and techniques. Based on the research results, it shows that: a) the implementation of P5 at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta in the 2023/2024 academic year has proceeded in accordance with the stages that must be implemented based on the P5 development guidebook; b) the results or output from the implementation of P5 at SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta are in accordance with the 5 dimensions of the 6 dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile which are interrelated and strengthen each other. P5 class VII and VIII report card data shows that there is an improvement in character for the better, as evidenced by the BSH (Developing According to Expectations) criteria; c) Supporting factors for implementing P5 by providing budget, project modules and rewards. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are that some activities are carried out not according to the specified time, some teachers do not understand P5 optimally and there is a lack of sense of responsibility towards the predetermined schedule.
