Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between the hidden curriculum and the religious attitudes of class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok, to determine the relationship between the character of responsibility and the religious attitudes of class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok, and to determine the relationship between the hidden curriculum and the character of responsibility with the religious attitudes of class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok. This research is a quantitative research. The research design used is a correlational survey. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok totaling 116 students and the research sample was 89 students. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data collection used a questionnaire. Before conducting the research, the instrument was first tested for validity and reliability. The classical assumption tests used were the normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The data analysis technique in this study used hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression analysis tests, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis, partial regression coefficient test (t test), and simultaneous test (F test). The research results show that, first, there is a significant relationship between the hidden curriculum and the religious attitudes of class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok. This is evidenced by the significance value of p <.001 < 0.05. Second, there is a significant relationship between the character of responsibility and the religious attitudes of class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok. This is evidenced by the significance value of p <.001 < 0.05. Third, there is a significant relationship between the hidden curriculum and the character of responsibility with the religious attitudes of class VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok. This is evidenced by the significance value of p <.001 < 0.05. The relationship between the hidden curriculum and the character of responsibility with religious attitudes is 29.2%, while the remaining 70.8% is related to other variables that were not studied. The hidden curriculum and character of responsibility together (simultaneously) have a positive relationship with students' religious attitudes. This study has proven that the hidden curriculum and character of responsibility have a significant relationship with students' religious attitudes. Therefore, this study contributes to the development of scientific theory on the relationship between hidden curriculum and responsibility character with religious attitudes of grade VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Depok.
