The discourse of social sciences methodology becomes more interesting with the appearance of Jurgen Haberma’s thoughts through his communicative action theory. Habermas, as a second generation of critical theory of Frankfurt school, tries to direct the methodological discourse of natural and social sciences into one building without dominating each other. To reconstruct the sosial sciences, Habermas develops communication into four stages: communicative action theory, pragmatic universal and social development theory, the discourse and truth concensus theory, and ability to communicate theory. These theories offer a new insight for social scientists after having stagnation as a result of the domination of positive philosophy.
