Abstract

The spread of sites that publish religious articles is an interesting thing to study because sites are media that are easy to read, easy for people to access, and easily go viral. One of the sites that attracts attention is the Arrahmah.id site, whose authors often write things that are critical of various things, one of the criticisms issued is criticism of Tafsir At-Tanwir. There were around 5 themes of criticism regarding the At-Tanwir Tafsir. It is interesting for the author to examine whether the criticisms made are in accordance with the aims and objectives of the interpreter of At-Tanwir or not. It is also interesting to study why this criticism can be formed. This associative research is qualitative in nature using the library research writing method which focuses on collecting and analyzing data from various literature sources that are relevant to the writing topic. In this context, the writing technique used is documenting, analyzing and confirming the relationship between articles from the Arrahmah.id site and Tafsir At-Tanwir. This writing uses Julia Kristeva's theory of intertextuality. With this theory, researchers will find out how different texts are related to each other, forming new meanings, and to understand the complex dynamics in the relationships between texts. Kristeva's theory of intertextuality helps in understanding how texts relate to each other, both directly and indirectly, and how this influences the resulting meaning. In this way, researchers will explore the relationship between the content of articles from the Arrahmah.id site compared to the content in Tafsir At-Tanwir. From the analysis it can be concluded that the aims of the two authors, both from Ar Rahmah and Tafsir At-Tanwir, both have good aims, but have different views in interpreting. The criticism that emerged from the article writer on the Arrahmah.id site was influenced by several aspects. Among the aspects resulting from misunderstandings related to the ambivalence of the series of words described by one of the authors of At-Tanwir on the theme they researched, this ambivalence gave rise to multiple interpretation assumptions from readers, but the aspect that researchers consider inappropriate is the author of Arrahmah.id's statement. the accusatory claims are too excessive, too blaming, antipathetic, and reactive. Because the author of the ar-Rahmah site immediately drew his own conclusions which were not actually intended by the author of Tafsir At-Tanwir. The author of the Arrahmah.id article is dominated by his own paradigm and perception, so he is less objective in concluding what is meant in Tafsir At-Tanwir. The cause of misunderstandings is differences in patterns of interpretation that are not consistent. The interpretation pattern of the Arrahmah.id author is Bayani-Maudhu'i where the reader of current phenomena is then referred to Salafist interpretations. Meanwhile, the Tafsir At-Tanwir is Bayani, Burhani, Irfani, Naql or Matsur plus using modernist and progressive interpretations with the aim of facing the challenges of the times.
