Abstract

The existence of Kolektif Punk Spektakel Klab Palembang has always been consider ed a social parasite by the majority of Palembang society. For them, what the Kolektif Punk Spektakel Klab believes and lives is deviant behavior. Whereas the Kolektif Punk Spektakel Klab actually campaigns for an ethos of independence or better known as D o it Yourself (DIY) which encourages humans to behave on the basis of freedom, simplicity, and the courage to express their own will in any case. This other side is not seen by the public, that Punk is a place for a kind of effort to break the hegemony or social resistance to the main culture. The researcher's presumption is that the Kolektif Punk Spektakel Klab has certain aims and objectives or big ideas. Therefore, this research tries to describe things related to the Kolektif Punk Spektakel Klab, namely how their thoughts are written into ideology and how the movements they carry out. This research is a qualitative research, which is a research conducted to understand the reality of a context by describing in detail and in depth about the actual reality in the field of study. Looking at the field of study which is the Kolektif Punk Spektakel Klab Palembang, this research falls into the category of field research, whose main data is obtained from the Spektakel Klab management as the “main actors” in addit ion to being supported by some literature data that will maximize this research. The data that researchers find is then analyzed using the Hegemony theory initiated by Antonio Gramsci. In this case, the author will examine how the ideological formation and the forms or products of the movement presented by the Kolektif Punk Spektakel Klab in an effort to carry out social resistance to the main culture of Palembang society. The findings of this research are, first, the Palembang Punk Collective Spektakel Kla b has an ideological paradigm of social resistance or counter hegemony, namely independence or Do it With Your Friend (DIWYF) in which there are ideas of anti establishment, equality (egalitarianism), freedom and anarchism, and counter culture. Second, the y propagate these five ideologies in movements that are divided into three main areas, namely gigs, labels, and journals and two other areas, namely solidarity activation and social media.
